The Hyper‑Dungeon Gauntlet

THE HYPER‑DUNGEON GAUNTLET!

The developers of The Crazy Hyper‑Dungeon Chronicles are challenging the fastest dungeon-crawlers in the realm to take on The Hyper‑Dungeon Gauntlet, a true test of skill set within the ever-shifting Hyper‑Dungeon of Parvamund! This is the chance for dungeoneers to cement their legacy not just on the leaderboards, but permanently within the Hyper‑Dungeon itself.

The Quest: Mastering the Destroyer!

The challenge is simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy! Complete a full, verifiable, and clean speedrun of The Crazy Hyper‑Dungeon Chronicles with the following criteria:

Participants must utilise the Destroyer character archetype, a build characterised by a focus on combat, less dialogue, and a higher overall difficulty, making it the supreme way of testing dungeon-crawling prowess.

All runs must be clean – meaning absolutely no cheats, mods, or unauthorised exploits will be permitted.

The Spoils: In‑game Immortality!

The top ten fastest players will not merely win a simple prize; they’ll earn a permanent, personalised place in the lore of the Hyper‑Dungeon itself!

Top 10

The lucky 10 who achieve the best times will be immortalised as special NPCs added to a special level within the Hyper‑Dungeon.
Each NPC will include the following:

  • 1 animated pixel art sprite
  • 2 portraits visible during dialogue with the NPC
  • Up to 2 short lines of dialogue (agreed upon with the winners and with Fix-a-Bug’s approval) translated into all languages supported by The Crazy Hyper‑Dungeon Chronicles (English, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese).

The Champion

On top of this, the player with the fastest time will receive not only the adulation of their fellow dungeoneers, but an extra reward in the form of the following:

  • An optional secret boss hidden in level 47, which, when defeated, will drop a unique piece of equipment that grants the players a significant boost (need to iron out what this will be). The Fix-a-bug team will also collaborate with the winner to design a personalised boss attack animation and mechanic.

Timeline and Entry Details!

The Hyper‑Dungeon Gauntlet is open to anyone wishing to participate, with the sole entry requirement being to submit a completed save file and a screenshot of the time at the end of the game.

The event will officially begin on 8 December 2025, with submissions no longer being accepted on 18 January 2026. Winning entries will be notified by february 2026, with rewards being added into The Crazy Hyper‑Dungeon Chronicles by Q2 2026.

Go forth, explore the Hyper‑Dungeon, and forge a legend that will last forever!
